What engages me most to write this post is my intention to stimulate the awakening of the will that is the power of love that gives man the ability to love their enemies. Especially in this time of civilization.
Loving your enemies is a part of my basic philosophical orientation.
To stay in bliss even when there is hurt and abuse is the grace for our people.
Blessing life and its experiences by actually living from love and the words written above is an absolute necessity for the survival of our civilization.
Love will survive us. Love... even for our enemies.
We have the moral responsibility to seek out how and why we should love our enemies.
How do you love your enemies?
1. In order to love your enemies start analyzing self. Looking at self is the first and foremost way to the how of this situation.
Some people just wont like you, won't like the way you walk, talk...won't like that you do your job better than they do...because your hair is a little longer or shorter then them or your skin is a little lighter or darker then theirs.
Some dislikes may rise from deep down inside us, from what we did do towards ourselves and forgot, which arises now as the tragic hate response towards other people. To start analyzing yourself is to learn to know thyself in each situation that encounters you. It is the beginning of peace.
2. Discover the element of good in your enemy.
Instead of hating that person look at the good things which will balance the bad things. There is this continual struggle with good and bad which is something inside most of us.
But you see, even in the worst of us there is some good. When you come to the point that you look into the face of your enemy, see the good and love him anyway because you can see Gods image in front of you.
3. When the opportunity presents yourself to defeat your enemy then you should not do that.
Love is creating and understanding the good will for everyone because you love without conditions.
Why do you love your enemies?
1. Hate for hate only intensifies the existence of hate and evil in the universe.
The strong persons cut off the chain of hate and evil and inject that strong power of love into the universe.
So many civilizations refused the light for other civilizations. They fail to have the sense to put on the light of love and so we all will end up destroyed.
Somewhere somebody must have the sense and reality, enough, to cut off the chain of hate and evil for love.
2. Hate distorts the personality of the hater. Hate destroys the hated as well as the hater.
You can't walk and stand up straight when you hate. You become a pathological case. You will call the beautiful ugly and the ugly beautiful. The truth becomes false and the false becomes the truth.
The more we hate the more we develop emotions and feelings of guilt and tragic neurotic responses. Because when you start to hate it destroys our creative response to life.

3. Love is a power that transforms everything.
When you love you will discover the power of redemption. By the power of your love the hater will open up for your love. (Abraham Lincoln had a great strategy for destroying enemies; he befriended them)

What is the different between feeling hurt and hate? I do not hate but still feel the pain of being betrayed. Friendship and trust being sacrificed for the sole purpose to reach their target. I want to wish them the best but I can't. I want to talk to them to find answers but maybe there are non. Even understanding the deeper meaning of encounters that have hurt you in order to get closer to yourself does not provide enlightenment. Is only a good will and time your friend?

DeleteBeyond any doubt I acknoweld the truth in what is written above. There is a difference however to know and understand the theory and to bring it into practice.
ReplyDeleteSitting in a math class, memorizing the formulas does not mean you deeply understand them. You only can use and apply them to solve a question if you fully understand the question and the formula.
For sure this comparison is incomplete. When feeling unhappy you’re forced to make changes and invited to look for solutions. However even knowing the formulas you can be unable to apply them.
How to apply love if you if you do not know how it feels? How to experience love without being able to discriminate the human hunger that wants to be satisfied and true love? It feels like being in the middle of a war with a gun without bullits.
Unless you arrrive at the point where true love hits you and never leaves again you will remain uncertain. It can not be forced and you can not search for it. It can be in front or your noose without you being able to see it, experience it. What else than time is our friend?
